Kerry Padel Centre Open League: Team Up, Play Weekly, Climb the Divisions

Kerry Padel Centre is excited to launch the Kerry Padel Centre Open League, a flexible local league designed to give players regular competitive matches, better games, and a clear pathway to progress through the divisions.

Players can register as a team of 2, with a once-off €25 per person admin/entry fee. The league is open to all levels, and during the initial league phase, teams will play against a wide range of opponents regardless of level, depending on final entry numbers.

The aim is simple: get everyone playing, create more competitive matches, and build a strong local league community at Kerry Padel Centre.

How the League Works

Teams will be required to play a minimum of 1 match per week. Matches are flexible and can be played on any day and at any time, making it easier for teams to organise fixtures around their own schedules.

The home team listed on the fixture schedule will be responsible for organising the match with their opponents. When arranging games, players should make sure their booking is turned to Private.

Matches played during peak hours will have €2 added to the player’s balance, and once a player has completed 4 paid league matches, their 5th match will be free.

Weekly Match Requirement

Each team must complete at least 1 fixture per week. If a team fails to play a match in a given week, they will be required to play 2 matches the following week.

Failure to complete fixtures may result in a points deduction, although this will be reviewed on a circumstantial basis.

League Progression

After the initial league phase, teams will be ranked based on their league position and then placed into divisions. This will create better, more competitive matches with players at similar levels.

From there, the goal is to win your division and move up.

Score Updates

After each match, 1 player from the winning team must update the result through the Kerry Padel Centre app.
